中国石化新闻网讯 据道琼斯纽约5月6日消息，政府预测机构周二表示，今年美国天然气的平均价格将高于先前的预期。
美国能源信息署（EIA）表示，由于供应仍将紧张，今年美国天然气平均价格将达到4.74美元/百万英热单位，比上月的预测值上调6.8%。
EIA表示，美国页岩革命的成功正在鼓励发电厂和工业用户使用比预期更多的天然气，但是预计今年的产量没有预期的多。

EIA Raises Forecast for Natural-Gas Prices

NEW YORK--Natural gas will cost more this year, on average, than previously expected, government forecasters said Tuesday.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration said natural gas will average $4.74 per million British thermal units, up 6.8% from its forecast last month, as supplies are likely to stay tight.
The country's shale boom is encouraging power plants and industrial consumers to use more gas than expected, but the boom hasn't produced as much supply as expected this year, the EIA said.
